  1. Requirements for National Identity Document Application:-<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>

    \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

    1. Initial Registration (first time) <\/strong>for Citizens:<\/strong><\/li><\/ol>
      • Original birth certificate and a copy, a parent\u2019s ID and a copy<\/li>
      • IDs are issued for free to applicants above the age of 16 <\/strong>and below 18<\/strong>.<\/li>
      • For those 22<\/strong> years and above, fingerprint clearance is done first before an ID is issued.<\/li>
      • The applicant should be knowledgeable of their village of origin and chief to align them with their tribal affiliation.<\/li><\/ul>

          • Valid passport.<\/li>
          • Work\/residence permit which is six months plus of stay in the country<\/li>
          • Fingerprint clearances if above 22 years<\/li><\/ul>
